"We are a group called Get Outdoors Homeschool Group. GO! Group has 30 families, but generally our meetups are small 5-10 kids the same nummber of adults,....it is very nice. The group is primarily for tweens 7-12"

Sorry it took me so long to respond to your friend request but the network and group I was working for went through major changes and now that the dust has settled things are back up and re-branded. The network is now Planet Earth Scouts and is no longer in association with the Earth Charter US board or governance. They still have their program but Planet Earth Scouts is now community owned and under creative commons license which is really great because there are no copyright or legal hassles and members are free to use all resources, expand them, and contribute in an open source environment. You can check it out at http://www.planetearthscouts.org if you are still interested and I look forward to connecting more with you!

There is plenty of trail off the bike trail. You will have to explore a bit to find the paths that don't dead end too soon. I can show you. You take it to the Nimbus Hatchery and back. It's 6 miles. My overweight 11 yr. old son has done it several times. He even led the group while I socialized. : )
