We are a mentoring organization who works with young men between the ages of 12-18 on opportunities and exposure to activities they normally would not get to see in the inner city. We do many outdoor activities and and consider ourselves the next generation of Nature's keepers
Our mission is to develop positive individuals through Mentorship by focusing on their Personal, Professional and Educational development.
That's ok, we'll be in the park playing tomorrow if it's not raining heavily. I was hoping to find ways to get the word out to more families around Albany for this weekend and future activities. We're really just starting up and hoping to be a member/volunteer led group/club. If you know anyone that might be interested they can register on our site and post ideas or plans to get kids and families outdoors and out into nature, volunteer to organize an event and we'll continue trying to get the word out.
I just wanted to say hi, I'm also in Albany and we're trying to start a group up to get more families and kids outside. Check out Capital Kids Outside. We're having an event at Ridgefield Park in Albany on May 21st for National Kids to Parks Day, if you know some families and kids around Albany that might be interested please come and check it out.
