From the Junior Ranger program,nature study hikes to educator training workshops, we offer resources to help guide your learning adventures and help you to continue connecting children with nature.
From fishing lessons to astronomy programs, from tree identification hikes to kite workshops, the parks offer a variety of learning opportunities for all ages. Most of the events are free, though some require pre-registration. All give families a deeper insight into the natural world. Typically led by park rangers, these interpretive programs allow you to gain perspective into what makes North Carolina state parks naturally wonderful.
