Kisumu multipurpose center commitments

Friends of Kisumu Center are groups of people around the world who make it possible for Kisumu center to continue reaching out to homeless children in Kenya. With their endless passion, creative local fundraising efforts, and generous personal support, Friends of  Kisumu Center ensure administrative expenses can be kept at a minimum, and as much funding as possible can go directly to help the children.

As a Friend of Kisumu center volunteer, you will become part of the kisumu center team, receive operational reports, get updates on the children, and will have the satisfaction of knowing that your involvement directly helps us as Kisumu Center continue pursuing our mission. As Kisumu Center expands to help a greater number of OVC's and street kids and support reunified families, the friends of kisumu center-groups all over the world are critical partners in our future, and in turn, the futures of hundreds of children.

True friends in every sense, Friends of kisumu center work as committed volunteers with the Kisumu center staff in kisumu, actively raising awareness and vital support for all we do. Most importantly, We allow the kisumu center staff to continue providing sustainable care for the children while preserving kisumu’s grassroots values and mission of putting children first and never turning a homeless child away.
