There are ten stories within my book, 'The Naturals': The Story of Cloudy, Snowy, Windy, Moony, Hailstones, Sunny, Rainbow, Rainy, Starry and Earth.
Here is a snippet from 'The Story of Snowy':
'...'Yes, Foxy, you really have to,' said Mother patiently. 'You may not think you are chilly, but you are still small and we need to snuggle up together.'
'But I don't like snuggling!' whined Foxy.
'The is quite enough, Foxy!' Mother exclaimed, not so patiently. 'Come over here, please.'
Foxy finally gave in and went and snuggled up to his mother and sisters.
Time went by in those early weeks, albeit a little too slowly for Foxy's liking, living snugly in the den that was home to him and his family. He grew more and more restless cooped up inside, but finally the day came when Foxy's parents decided it was time to take their three cubs for a little exploration outside the den.
'At last ... finally! whooped Foxy with great joy...'
For those of you who haven't seen Snowy for a while, let your imaginations run away to the moist breath air and the crunchy boot steps underfoot, and feel the warmth we still have inside... Sharon x
