Live-with-Love

My heart is filled with joy as I watch my teenage daughter at one with nature. It is so natural, so pure.

Like most girls her age, she is discovering being a teenager can be stressful.

Time in nature allows her to reconnect with what is real, what is true.

Sharing that time with her is precious.

Our time spent together in nature not only calms us but brings us closer together.

Hi Jane, thank you so much for your lovely comments. We are fortunate to be looking after two wonderful horses and a Lama and some chickens will be arriving next month. This is all very new to us, we have only ever had a dog and Sam was asking if we could have a goat........................I think I'll pass on the goat for now!!! Wishing you a beautiful day in nature Jane.

Oh Suz, thank you for your kind words. I feel incredibly fortunate to be able to spend time with my family outdoors. I feel for today’s teenagers, time spent in nature allows them to switch off from all the “noise” modern day living throws at them.

Wishing you and your family a beautiful Wednesday. Marghanita

Hi  Marghanita! Thank you for your beautiful words and pictures. They're stunning. I also have a teen who completely and visibly benefits from time in nature -- mostly down time to just experience and BE, something modern teens don't have to much of. I also feel that we benefit as a family from our special time outdoors, hiking, biking, playing, laughing, observing, talking, or walking in silence. Thank you for this beautiful reminder about the joys and benefits of nature for people of all ages, perhaps especially for teens.
