Thanks for joining C&NN Connect. It's quite an interesting site - a little bit like a rabbit warren. However please do sign up to some of the groups where there is quite a bit of activity, especially the Natural Teachers Network.

I run the Scotland group and the International Group. By sheer chance I'm involved in an urban forest kindergarten project in Scotland. Please do let me know if you want information about this or other similar activities in Scotland.

I am glad to hear parents encourage their kids to be outside. Now the challenge is getting the kids to go outside and separate from their electronic toys.

I am pleased you will share the findings of your study on this site. More of this kind of study is needed. I am familiar with Virginia Lohr's work, but I am sad to say that I never met her before I retired from Washington State University. Great project. We have some folks on the Network who specialize in getting kids outdoors in the winter. I think you can provide some interesting experience for us from Helsinki. I visited there once when I was a college student, on my way to Russia, a long time ago.
