Greetings and Welcome, Hope. Rich has asked me to help organize the Natural Teachers Network. Amy and I and others are busy getting the initial infrastructure in place. After that is done, I hope you will help in spreading the word about the group, which will have a special site on C&NN CONNECT. I know about MTN from Diane Genco, ED of the New Jersey School-Age Care Coalition. Diane and I and others are working together to bring the children and nature story to the after-school community. Back soon with more details on the Natural Teachers Network. Welcome aboard. jt
re:MTN -- this network is open to all -- so feel free to invite others. We're working on a new initiative -- a Natural Teachers Network for teachers who use the out-of-doors in their teaching -- inclusive of all subjects from language arts, math, leadership, to history, social studies etc. etc.
Welcome Hope, Just took a look at the Monarch Teachers Network -- great program and did you say Letterboxing? Must hook you up with Chip -- he introduced me to this. Find him in the Nature Clubs for Families group.
