The Darien Land Trust is hosting a "celebration day" in Dunlap & Selleck's Woods that engages people of all ages in educational activities that link what happens in and around Dunlap Lake and Tokeneke Brook with the water quality in Long Island Sound.
On hand there will be musicians, artists, refreshments and exhibits for topics including birds, butterflies, amphibians, trees, invasive plants and local environmental improvements.
This is a wonderful way to explore our nearly 2 miles of trails through a 50 acre nature preserve. There are 7 distinct ecosystems ranging from densely wooded areas to ponds, marshes, swamps, streams and even prairie pockets. Please join us!
