Event Description

Docent Training Begins March 2nd

Now accepting registrations for the 2011 Docent Training Course!

Wednesdays, March 2nd through May 4th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

This is a 10-week, 30-hour course which includes ecology, botany, geology, ornithology, local history, international relations, and interpretive methods for both youth and adult audiences.


You must be signed up as a long-term volunteer prior to beginning the course. To do so, please fill out the Volunteer Interest Form and schedule a volunteer orientation/interview with Danielle Litke, Community Outreach Coordinator.
