Event Description

Learn about the different forested communities found in the Kickapoo Valley region. From special forest types like southern mesic forest to impressive stands of oak, learn about why these forests grow where they do and the common and rare species that can be found in them. Refreshments and socializing at 6:30 pm. Presenter: Ryan O’Connor, Wisconsin DNR Ecologist & Inventory Coordinator.
