The Environmental Nature Center is presenting the “Drought” Youth Art Exhibit on May 15, 2016 from 10am-3pm. Youth, ages 4 – 18 have the opportunity to exhibit their art at the Environmental Nature Center’s Spring Faire.

                  The theme of the showcase is “Drought.” The showcase will exhibit art exploring issues and solutions pertaining to the California drought. Art must address any of the issues or solutions relating to the drought including but not limited to global climate change, population growth, landscaping with drought tolerant native plants, and water conservation. The deadline for submission is May 9^th. For more info visit encenter.org

GUIDELINES:

• Art must reflect the theme: “Drought”
• Art may be dropped off between Monday, May 2 and Monday, May 9 between 8 AM and 4 PM at the front desk of the Environmental Nature Center:
• 1601 E. 16th Street Newport Beach, CA 92663
• Ages 4 through 18 may enter.
• Upon drop-off of artwork, a simple form with the artist name, name of artwork, medium, and phone number will be filled out and taped to the back of the piece. Do not worry about filling anything out ahead of time. Large classes can download the form ahead of time on www.encenter.org
• With the exclusion of film, all mediums/sizes accepted as long as it can fit through the doorway (including photography)
• 1 entry per person
• No prior email approval necessary
