Event Description

Ever wonder what it’s like to live like a pioneer on the frontier? Come celebrate autumn and the harvest season by going back in time! Join the Aldo Leopold Nature Center for a day exploring the daily life of a pioneer by visiting the Children’s Shack, where you can experience many different frontier activities. Play the olden-days games of pioneer families, do pioneer chores, sing songs, and learn how to live off of the land in the true spirit of Aldo Leopold.

Pre-registration recommended; walk-ins accepted.
