Discover what it’s like to live a day in the life of a teeny tiny animal. See the world from the perspective of a mouse, get an up-close look at the natural environment and meet some live tiny animals! You will have the opportunity to participate in special activities and don’t forget to check out the premier of the museum’s newest film, “Tiny Giants”, showing at 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. 
Special activities include:
  • Tiny Giants Trivia Wheel: Test your knowledge of the smallest animals on the planet.
  • Small Animal Coloring Sheets and Crafts: color or create a small animal-themed craft.
  • Build a Bug: choose from a selection of dragonflies, fireflies, and other bugs to paint, put together, or design (while supplies last).
  • Investigations with Microscopes: Get up close with the environment while viewing various elements of nature under a microscope.
  • LIVE Tiny Animals: Meet some of our museum’s tiniest critters which may include a snake, lizard, tarantula or cockroach!
