Take a 1.7-mile nature walk with a park docent to learn about the life cycle of lichen, those colorful patches found growing on rocks and tree trunks. Discover the incredible beauty and variety of lichen and learn ways these organisms benefit both wildlife and the environment. Meet at the Visitor Center at the end of Malaguerra Ave. Dress in layers with sturdy shoes, water, and a camera.
