Event Description

Beavers are among the best habitat engineers in the world and can inspire both joy and ire as a result. These industrious creatures have a long, rich history in Wisconsin. Join us for a look into the history, ecology, and management of beavers. Presenter: Geriann Albers, Assistant Furbearer Ecologist for the WI Dept. of Natural Resources. Refreshments and socializing at 6:30 pm. Talk begins at 7 pm. Sponsored by the Kickapoo Valley Reforestation Fund and the Friends of the Kickapoo Valley Reserve.
