This Cornell University MOOC (massive open online course) is about how and why people care for nature in communities marked by pollution, poverty, natural disaster, and ethnic conflict. Anyone can sign up for free and download the lectures and readings. If you complete 65% of the assignments, you receive a certificate from Cornell.
