Event Description

Saturday, February 23rd  – 8:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M.

Ages 9 – adult

Late winter is a great time to find a wide variety of gulls, ducks, and other waterfowl. We will visit Round Valley Reservoir and Spruce Run Reservoir to see what kinds of winter waterfowl we can turn up.  Last winter we saw an Iceland gull, lesser black-backed gulls, coots, loons, and several species of ducks, along with other interesting wintering species. Who knows what we’ll find this winter? Join Vicki Schwartz for a fun and informative day in the field.

Location: Boat Launch at Round Valley Reservoir

Cost: members, $10 per person; nonmembers, $15 per person
