Join educators from a variety of backgrounds on a beautiful Maine island, owned and managed by the National Audubon Society, for 5 1/2 days of exciting field trips, workshops, and networking. This historic and famed "camp", now in its 76th year, is located on a spruce-covered, 330 acre wildlife sanctuary near the world's first restored Atlantic Puffin colony. Daily field trips include exploring marine intertidal areas, bogs, forests, islands, and meadows. Award-winning staff members use art and journaling, music, photography, theatre, and good inquiry-based science to make all programs fun and intriguing. Scholarships are available, and there is a $50 discount for registering by December 15th. Gourmet-style home cooking, boat trips, and making new friends are part of this truly memorable experience. CEU's available. Children's book author Lynn Cherry is our special guest. See website for lots more information, as well as photos, prices, testimonials, etc.
