The St. Vrain Greenway near County Line Road and Sandstone Ranch is an active wildlife area. The City of Longmont has long term plans for this area, once a gravel mine and now being reclaimed for native species from willows and cottonwoods to prairie dogs and bald eagles.
Join WRV for a FULL DAY of plantings along the St. Vrain Creek and enjoy the spring weather. We'll be planting many NATIVE species of trees, shrubs and other small plants, right in Longmont's backyard.
Limited space for youth. Please call the office if you have questions.
