Event Description

It’s Aldo Leopold’s birthday weekend! Come celebrate at our Black Earth Campus, located in the Driftless Region!  Grab your sled (or snowshoes) and join us for an evening of fun in the snow! Discover the winter flora and fauna as you sled, snowshoe or hike along the snow-covered trails.  Finally, we’ll warm up around a roaring campfire with a cup of hot chocolate and enjoy a birthday snack. ALNC will have adult and child snowshoes available for use at this event.  Participants are invited to bring dinner to cook over the campfire or eat in the cabin.  Register on ALNC’s website or call our Program Coordinator at (608) 221-0404 ext. 0 to register!
