Spring is almost here and it is a great time to take a hike, look for tracks and enjoy the day outdoors! Come and enjoy the a few hours with Take A Kid Outdoors. Enjoy a short hike from the trail head to the old Rotary Camp and you might find some early flowers and maybe even a deer antler (sheds). At the top hang out by the camp fire and explore the bird blind. We might even cook some food over the fire. This event will be co-sponsored by the Coralville-North Corridor Rotary Club.
Participants are urged to dress for the weather, as it may be cold and raining, but with the right gear we can have an amazing day in the woods. We encourage everyone to bring a digital camera and/or binoculars.
This event is FREE and OPEN to the public. A light lunch will be provided. Advance registration is requested, but not required. If you plan to bring a group of 6 or more, e-mail email@example.com; this will help us to plan for equipment and food preparation
