Starting May 20, 2011 my husband, Rolf, myself, and our beautiful son, Tayden (he will be 17 months in May) will be leaving behind all we know to take an adventure of a lifetime. We will be starting in Colorado and winding our way through the United States to explore nature in all 50 states. It is our mission to inspire, motivate, educate, and empower other families to get outside and explore. We will be hiking over 1,000 miles, kayaking, canoeing, rafting, skydiving, ballooning, attempting the 50 peaks, planting trees and gardens, as well as many other fun outdoor activities.

Our focus is to bring awareness to families on how critical nature is for proper development. We have partnered with some fabulous organizations and charities and look forward to doing our little part to hopefully make a small difference in the lives on youth and families. Together we can all create a better future for our kids and bring more families outside.

Please feel free to view our website (www.exodusfamily.com) and give us feedback. We would love to meet other families for hikes in their communities, discuss how we can have a bigger impact, and take in any advice you may have for our year long journey.

Thank you for the help in making this upcoming year a true success!

All the best,

Jenny
