Hey, everyone. I just wanted to start a discussion thread on my new documentary film called "Nature Kids". I would love to hear your thoughts and comments on what I am trying to accomplish. I have a few more months of post-production ahead of me and would appreciate feedback from the C&NN community. You can learn more about the film at: www.naturekidsmovie.com.
And please check out and share our Indigogo campaign. Thanks!

I think this is a great idea for a documentary. I just visited your site and watched your YouTube clip. One suggestion - perhaps hook the viewer with a story(ies) of an individual kid(s) in your trailer.
I am not sure what stage of production you are in and if this is possible, but I think it would be compelling to follow the experience of a child being introduced to nature, especially if there is a good back story. Maybe a therapist that uses nature or something. I realize personal stories are difficult, especially considering privacy issues with kids but that might help reach out to a mainstream audience. Research shows people are more likely to give money to charity when told stories of individuals. Stories of individuals help define broad issues.
That's my two cents. Good luck.
