Profile Information

Title or Role
Kyle spent the summers of her youth camping, climbing and mucking around in the estuaries of Cape Cod. She's led outing clubs at both the high school and collegiate levels, held jobs ranging from commercial fisher-woman in Alaska to residential director at Exploration Summer School at Yale University and most recently, management positions at both Eastern Mountain Sports and Recreational Equipment Inc. Kyle is currently leading a 300-acre conservation effort outside of Boston, MA. To depict her unconventional thinking and determination to see bold ideas through to fruition, she worked tirelessly in 2009 to relocate a house set for demolition and helped it into the hands of Habitat for Humanity who ensured it’s continued use.

*Kyle is the Co-Founder on WorthWild LLC, a crowdfunding and crowdsourcing platform for environmental initiatives. WorthWild rallies people around environmental initiatives and helps turn sparks into flame. As an online platform WorthWild is positioned to take advantage of the phenomenal social success of crowdsourcing and social funding as a means to support educators, environmental non-profits and individuals in achieving their sustainability goals.

WorthWild multiplies grassroots efforts by connecting environmental Initiators with Supporters, Sponsors, and Contributors that may also be experienced non-profit leaders, clubs, groups and individuals fueled by a common cause: to connect and reconnect with nature and to protect our natural resources.

WorthWild taps into the outdoor community by inviting passionate environmentalists, educators and organizations to share best practices, lessons learned, curricula, ideas and advice. The platform is sophisticated enough for expert technology users and simple enough for advocates of all ages. By virtue of being online, WorthWild is also able to provide updated materials and expose newly inspired techniques to WorthWild users, allowing them to evolve more efficiently than some offline constituents.
