Hello Alan

I've put the date in my diary as I can make it. However...are you aware that LTS have a couple of outdoor courses scheduled on this day too? I think this includes an event at Glenmore Lodge...!

Please do email me on (substitute @ for at - I'm just trying to avoid potential spammers which do sometimes come onto this site)

Glad SLF was good. I wanted to see Renfrewshire's seminar on their OL strategy but hopefully I'll be able to find out bits and bobs from others on this.

Best wishes

Hello Alan

1) Well I happen to do quite a lot of outdoor literacy courses through my work - it seems to be a very popular topic this term. If you're interested in my doing an outdoor literacy workshop then let me know. If there's a theme to the conference then usually I link the activities to this. For example, I've done outdoor literacy workshops on themes such as woodland literacy, journeys and roots to nature.

2) I was going to go to SLF but I've kind of overstretched myself a wee bit workwise so I need to catch up...Are you delivering one of the seminars?

3) Jill is super - very creative - she's helped me out on a course or two in the past before she got too much teaching work!!!

Best wishes

Hi Alan! I'll add my voice to the welcomes and am thrilled that you took Juliet and John up on their suggestions to join various groups here. They're a great place to enter the discussions and find like-minded people and resources. I hope we see you here often and learn more about your work and Cairngorms. Cheers!

Hi Alan. I also add my welcome to the Children & Nature Network site. You have an excellent background to help our Natural Teachers Network understand how to use the outdoors to enhance learning. I hope you join the NTN social networking site and share your ideas often. Welcome to the movement. John

Hello Alan

Nice to see you here! Thanks for joining C&NN Connect. It's quite an interesting site - a little bit like a rabbit warren. However please do sign up to some of the groups where there is quite a bit of activity, especially the Natural Teachers Network.

I run the Scotland group and the International Group. We have met - I think at an LTS event in Aberdeen.

Best wishes
