This is a video that the Director of the Maine Primitive Skills School and I put together over a year ago. The activities and behaviors you see the child doing are examples of what children do in the outdoors naturally and have done naturally for thousands of years. As mentors and educators, being aware of these healthy, fun, and educational behaviors we can empower them and partake in them ourselves. That way, we work with the natural rhythm of things and the unique interests of the children. It really seems to amplify learning for both the children and the adults who are sharing in the adventure.  Please let us know what teaching technologies you are using, that way we can grow together and reach more children.
